West Bromwich Albion 1-1 Portsmouth -
West Brom and Portsmouth played out a 1-1 draw on the 7th December 2008. Johnathan Greening opened the scoring for the Baggies in the 39th minute but that was cancelled out by a strike from Peter Crouch in the 58th minute. West Brom ended their 4 game losing streak with this result, but they stay bottom.
Everton 2-3 Aston Villa -
Steve Sidwell opened the scoring in under a minute at Goodison park on Sunday December 7th. Joleon Lescott then equalised before Ashley Young scored to make it 2-1 to Villa. Everton thought they had snatched a draw in the last minute when Lescott scored again, but a minute later Young scored again to send the travelling Villa fans crazy.
